What i have learned about my topic

When i started doing research on this topic i didn't know much about it but now i learned a whole bunch of things. I learned the effects Chlamydia has on a pregnant women and how it affects the baby. If the pregnant women has chlamydia than there is a high chance the baby will get it too when it is born. I also learned the symptoms of Chlamydia and that is known as the silent disease. Its known by that name because the symptoms of Chlamydia are not notice until the 3rd week of exposure. The symptoms on women are "lower abdominal back and lower back pain". I also learned how Chlamydia can be diagnosed. Chlamydia can be diagnosed though many tests, but doctors use the sample of urine a person has. Those are the things i have learned about my topic.

Why i chose Chlamydia

My topic is the STD Chlamydia. The reason i chose this topic is because i want people to know how Chlamydia can effect a person. A person can get Chlamydia  by being sexually active with different people. Someone who is infected with Chlamydia may not even notice it because the symptoms don't appear until the first to thrid week, that is why Chlamydia is known as the "silent disease".  When the symptoms appear in women start to have abdominal pain, lower back pain, and pain during intercourse. Thats a little bit of information i can give right now but i'll be sure to post more about Chlamydia.
